I would say you have been making plenty of the big money purchases and should probably collect more than you have, but if you have had an arrangement already with Kimberly that is working, I would think it would be best to have her continue to collect the money (she can likely upgrade her account to this business account) and have her continue to put the packages together unless she wants to take a break and let someone else do it for awhile! I don't think ecurbh and I should set up the account and be unnecessary middle-men, and we are not the best shoppers for the job, we don't like going to town!
You don't even have to leave your PC. Just send the funds electronically (or even paper check) to those who are doing the buying and shipping. You'd be just the financial clearinghouse. A dedicated bank account would be a good idea, though, just so there's no chance of comingling.
Maybe if you stopped by PayPal, and looked at their non-profit "stores", you'd get an idea of how they work. Everyone could certainly mention the PayPal "store", but ecurbh could also have a full-time link (with the highly desireable credit card logos) on the web site.
And I hate shopping, too. Or at least, going out to go shopping. I buy everything I possibly can online. No driving around (that should please the liberals), open 24/7, and I save on state taxes while the "internet tax holiday" is still in effect.
