OH, ouch! Tell me about it! Our furnace just died (in twenty degree temps here) and we had to have the entire duct system replaced because it was 25 years old and leaking like Violetta's lungs. It got to 50 degrees in the house on Friday - the Labrador, three Siamese cats, and all the humans were huddled together under multiple down comforters and quilts. But . . . it gets worse . . . my daughter was on a wilderness camping trip in Western North Carolina - it snowed and got down to about 10 degrees at night - there was ice on her sleeping bag INSIDE her tent . . .
