I had to pay last year, too. Ugh. I need to figure out why...but like I said, I changed jobs, so I thought things would change.

Well, I hope you get it worked out, glad you have the job with the university.

But take a good look at your fixed expenses, the ones you can't control, vs. income, then your discretionary expenses (the ones you can control).

I apologize if I'm saying the wrong thing, but the answer is usually in the math.
