LOL! I also like the scene at Minas Tirith where Pippin scares Beregond's son Bergil by telling him "I am a halfling: hard, bold, and wicked!" :)
That was my OTHER fav scene, one I DEARLY wished they had put in the film...I laugh every time I read it...so very Pippin...go around tweaking people's noses and then having to explain himself when his bluff is called. My other fav line is "not likely to grow any more except sideways." Typical self-deprecating humor. I like him because he is a lot like Bilbo in that respect. I did not like the way Walsh and Boyens drew him out.
just busting in to say hi again...took a beading class...learned to knot beads onto silk cord. I really really like the effects you can make with this technique : you can use up to 10 strands together and get real funky with the designs. The others there had some GORGEOUS turquoise, amber, coral and glass beads...All I had were wooden and clay beads I had been scavenging from eBay, storage and oddball places like gifts shops and garage sales. One of these days Ill have enough money to get all the silver, coral and turquoise beads I need.
