Hmm, the only story I remember well isn't really a polite one...

LOL! :) By the way, most of our comics are from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I bought mostly Marvel, some DC, some Independents; Rose the same, but with more DCs.

What titles did you like? I read most Marvels casually but the ones I followed most closely were Spider-Man (all titles), X-Men, Conan, and Tomb of Dracula. The DCs from that period I liked best were Neil Adams' run on Batman; Curt Swan's Superman; the team comics, especially World's Finest, The Brave and the Bold, All-Star Comics with the JSA, and New Teen Titans; and horror comics like House of Mystery. My favorite Independent was Mike Baron's Badger; also read Nexus and Zot! from time to time.

In the early 70s I was more into DC, mostly The Flash, the Superman titles, Batman, and the various anthology comics, especially the ones with military themes like Sgt. Rock, Unknown Soldier, and The Losers. In the late 70s and 80s I switched to Marvel in a big way... Iron Man, Fantastic Four, the Spider-man and X-Men titles... uhm, Avengers, Dr. Strange, just about any Marvel superhero title. My favorite independent then was Elfquest. In the 90s I started switching back to DC, and still buy mostly DC with a smattering of Marvel and Indies.

Rose will have to tell you her favorites herself. ;)
