Ummm, uh. . .I dunno :) Because Gimli's a dwarf and all elf-food tastes alike to him, maybe? Actually I think because Gimli did that, whenever I think of lembas it reminds me of the taste of cram, so it tastes kind of like cram to me. Cram's a little different, though--denser and less crumbly. But I bet if you eat nothing but lembas for weeks on end like Frodo and Sam did it starts to taste like cram anyway! :)
