Speaking of getting drunk, I've just read somewhere that in ROTK Aragorn sings at his coronation. Yikes! Viggo singing? First he thinks he's everyone's political advisor, now he's Elvish Presley...

Argh..... Why are you talking about RoTK as some unknown and mysterious thing? Why haven't you seen it?

Well, there's no theatre in this town any more, so I have to take the bus into Vancouver. I went there the weekend before Christmas, but the theatre had published the wrong starting times, so I had 90 minutes to wait, so I went Christmas shopping, then home. I just haven't gotten sufficiently aroused to try again. Now that they've won the Oscar the showings will probably be crowded, so I'll probably wait a couple of weeks for the crowds to die down (and for the next payday to occur!).
