Never a word about those removals causing slowdowns. I would think that if there had been a problem then, removing post #45655 would have revealed it.

I think it was frequent abuse reports on the Terror thread that made them get in there several times a day that brought it to the forefront. I don't think it will ~ever~ be a frequent issue here. I think they locked our thread in an effort to look "fair". If you look back through their original thread, as I did because I was pinged to the debate a couple times, there was considerable hostility (thread envy) about how big our thread was.... Accusations of unfair treatment.

Yes it does, but we also have the pride of knowing that those big numbers will forever be ours.
