I'm going tonight to see the Passion. Got supper for the boys all fixed. Buying "Spykids 3-D" for them to watch.
I leave here at about 5pm, we're going out to eat with the rest of the ladies, then we're walking across the parking lot for the movie at 7pm, it starts at 7:45.

I still haven't talked to my siblings about the movie. It was too late and I was too angry with them. I probably will talk to them later today.
Where are you guys going out to eat?

The pork just turned out fantastic. I cooked it on low in the slow cooker the whole time we were at Awanas. Then, just minutes after we got home (my computer was still booting up) Steve came in!! Ack...had to shut down quick!
Anyways, we had some "free samples" and the meat was vey tender, the gravy was great, even Matthew commented on how good the gravy was!

OK. Sounds vaguely familiar.
I may cook dinner for my brothers. Haven't decided yet.

Tell 'em that whether or not you cook for them is directly related to how nice they are to you.

I still wish I could talk 'em into doing some dishes when I cook dinner. I mean...they aren't regular guests, they're brothers!
It always amazes me how many dishes they go through at my house, too. I collect them from all over the kitchen and living room after they've gone...and the top of the fridge and on shelves and under the coffee table...

Morning everyone!
I just love our new visitor. *grinning* I sure wish Jen was here! She'd be wondering if Cartman was really that bad after all.
Let me get some vittles set out.

There are some bowhunters that I wouldn't wish to be with out in the woods. There are many bad bowhunters out there. But that's not true of any of the folk here. There's good advice to be had here, and these are the people that are worth listening to on the matter.
you are too kind sir... osagebowman is the Master Bowman... far more learned than I... seeing as I can no longer draw draw a bow, his advice I would value more...

Gee, even my GUESTS help a bit...put up the perishables and such if we're gonna sit around and visit afterward!
You gotta be firm, Rosie...it really is all up to you. If they ask to come over, right up front you gotta tell 'em, "Sure! But only if you'll help me clean up afterward, I'm exhausted in the evening and it's too much work for me without help!"
But if you ASK THEM over, then (even though they are FAMILY and ought to know better...but they seem to DON'T)...you can expect they won't help you. You can ask, but don't expect it.
What I would do, being the way I am, is this...I'd mention the wonderful supper I have planned. Just mention it. Say "Oh, I can't wait to get home, I made the best beef stew! I'm gonna bake up a skillet of cornbread and enjoy a nice hot satisfying meal tonight!" Then wait. If they say "Wow! Is there enough for me?" Say..."Well, there is, but the mess after you guys leave is always so overwhelming...takes me forever to clean up. I'd be happy to have you over if you promise to just spiff up after yourself!"
If, after you mention the delectable meal, they don't say anything...don't invite them. Put the leftovers in the fridge for yourself.
Just invite them when you're willing to clean up after them.
Gees, did your mom let them get away with this? My jedis even clean up their plates after themselves!
