Do I get hardship pay for driving my boss and the annoying coworker home?I think you can get compensated for that under emotional pain and suffering :) BTW, seems like you're playing the chauffeur a lot this week! :)
To: JenB
Of course you get hazard pay, girlfriend! It's called "per diem!"
You got your maps? Your directions? Your favorite Atkins snacks?

It isn't on here yet, but I will certainly watch after that heads up!

I'm printing out the map Tuesday night. I'm also making my boss take us for dinner in Canada Thursday so I can have a glass of wine, and I'm going to take a diet break, because Canada is also the home of the World's Best Chocolate-ish Treat, "Smarties".
Fedora, I play chauffer a lot. Heck, I put two hundred miles on my car most weeks, and that's just my commuting. Oh well, I don't pay rent, so...

Welcome back! Glad you had a good visit! Been a slow weekend on the thread.... I think all you missed was a whole bunch of pop-quizzes!

She is good Rose. We finally got to sit and have long heart-to-heart girl time. It was well worth the last minute unplanned run! I am now satisfied that she has her head together and is where she feels she needs to be.
She's found a church she really likes in Temple. I went with her this morning. It ROCKED!! You'd o' loved it I think! The Spirit was one the move in that place for sure! :-)

It just seems that way.
Well, I've added 1500 words to my story and am in the middle of a scene of girl-chat, which drives me nuts after three paragraphs, so I'm going to bed. I have a very good feeling about this rewrite, though there's not a lot of magic happening yet and there really should be.
Good night!

I have to deal with enough quizzes at work! I don't need anymore. Too much stress in my life already without being tested here too! LOL

G'night! :) Looking forward to seeing how your story turns out!

GOOD PLAN!!! Specially on a weekend! Shouldn't be tested on a weekend at all. Isn't that sacreligious or something? :-)

Wow, for about the last 45 minutes of my trip I watched a spectacular lightening storm in a clear dark night sky off far to the west. One of those displays that you just have to be in the right place at the right time to experience.
Now, just minutes after getting my things in the house a hard thunderstorm has hit. I love this. Watching the storm and now hearing the rain outside is a cool gift from God! Not to mention perfect timing of when the rain got here!

Wonder why those drapes have a red sash? Scarlet O'Hara did better with her drapes.
