Well...I got it! Time will tell if I'll actually use it...but I could certainly sell it for what I paid for it if things didn't go well. It's not fancy, but not bad at all, either! Doesn't have lots of incline levels or doo-dads like heart monitoring and such, but does go up to faster than I'll ever be able to run, and it can either be flat or on an incline. And it's in very good shape...was driven by a little old lady only on Sundays, so to speak. ;-)
Now I just need to get an extension cord...the only place it fits well when unfolded is in the bedroom, which is fine...but the nearest outlet is just outta reach. Hate it when that happens.
So...maybe I can even start the same plan you're on? We could be exercise buddies remotely! If you'd be willin' to have me, that is. ;-)
Meanwhile, I got plenty of exercise gettin' the thing into the house. I probably shoulda waited until I had a brother or two to help, but I'm too stubborn for that. Getting it through the door was the hardest part. After that I just set it on a blanket and slid it through the house.

...and they blow themselves up....kewl....surprising how many people get caught for just that reason alone.

Meth (a.k.a. "Crystal") isn't going to be pillsI actually knew that! I meant that the problem in our area, as far as I've heard, is pills like Oxycontin and such.

I meant that the problem in our area, as far as I've heard, is pills like Oxycontin and such. If it doesn't make you want to listen to Pink Floyd, it isn't really a drug.

I also missed the "pyromania" phase of childhood development so I'm not really sure what those smell like either... You never at least burned holes in stuff with a magnifying glass? You poor deprived child!
Incidentally...I think I've mentioned this here before...but when I was little we found out that milk dud boxes - the mini ones like you get Halloween candy in - don't just get little holes burned in 'em. Something about the composition of the paper or the ink used meant that they'd burst into flame with a little careful application of a magnifying glass. Kewl...

I need a nag! ;-) Probably Mondays (late), Wednesdays and Thursdays. Maybe on the weekend, if I can swing it. I'm going to aim for three or four days a week.

Exploring alternate income opportunities? Heh.... maybe just a hobby farm....
To: RosieCotton
Heh, I'm starting easy... figure I need at least a day in between to recooperate. Plus I work too late Thursday, and don't get back from choir until almost ten on Tuesdays.
So. Getting started now? Or waiting until Wednesday?

PE is feeling pretty bad today. Went to bed last night with a sore throat, this morning slept in, went into work late, but still went in. He came home tonight with headache from Hell and achy flu-like symptoms. Now he's got the shivers to boot. He and Elf-boy are already sleepin (elf-boy only went to be 30 minutes early). I told PE to call in in the morning.
He has already had the flu once this season, argh! I'm prayin it is just a cold, but I fear it is the real deal.
Just a bunch of sickies over here.

I have stuff going on so much of the time...I'm picking the days when I'm LEAST likely to chicken out.
I'm not gonna do it tonight...I'll start Wednesday.
Do you have the link to that program? You posted it once before, but I didn't bookmark it like I should have...

He turned thirty-five last Sunday
In his hair he found some gray
But he still ain't changed his lifestyle
He likes it better the old way
So he grows a little garden in the back yard by the fence
He's consuming what he's growing, nowadays in self defense
He get's out there in the twilight zone
sometimes, when it just don't make no sense

Good lyric!

I don't think it's going to be easy for me, either! IT work isn't exactly conducive to cardiovascular fitness...
I'll start Week 1 on Wednesday, then.
