*White courtesy phones rings. Darks looks surprised, fearful, and amused all at the same time.*
"Hmm.. now who would know I'm here?"
*Into phone*
"Umm.. yell-o?"
*Oddly familiar but still menacing Voice on phone*
'I seee you!'
*Darks looks around for who wouldbe pranking him*
"Umm.. I can see me too. Though this usually isn't a problem."
*Still weird and utterly creepy voice on phone*
'There is nowhere you can hiiiiiide!'
*Darks, really confused now, looks over his shoulder*
"Umm.. are you sure you got the right number?"
*Odd voice pauses*
'Baggins?'
"Nope, but I've been accused of Hobbitry and other lesser crimes."
'Oh, sorry. *shouting at someone in same room as voice* You blundering idot Nazgul gave me the wrong number!'
*Darks slowly hangs up the phone and sneaks off*
"I'm gone!"
And thus I am back.

Has anyone here ever had a sinus infection?I have, many times. The clincher will be when you blow thick green goo out of your nose. Or maybe flourescent yellow. Or brown. Until then, it may just be regular congestion. Sudafed works good, and it's non-drying. Regular antihistamines tend to dry the nasal passages, which can make an infection more likely, or worse if you already have one.

The man woke up, and leaning over the bedrail he chose the leather-worked unbifurcated garment over the denim bifurcated trousers lying on the floor needing a wash. In a gesture that could be described as schizophistoric, he wore a yarmulke for his codpiece.

Pocketses yes.
A multi-functional kilt designed for working men. Extra pockets and a modesty snap between legs. Two exterior rear pockets. Two side mount saddle pockets, with "the Grip" retractable side hammer loop and front key loop. Patent Pending Wallet Grip rear pocket. Right side scraper/pencil pocket, heavy duty rivets at all major pocket stress points.

The first number I posted represented your posts on the new thread for the week.
Seemed like a slow week to me too... I think it was the low number of posts on the new thread. The last 3 days of the previous thread had 1348 messages posted, versus 1749 for the five days of the new thread.

LOL!
Been somewhat busy with other things for a bit.
But I'm back!

Well...a weekend in a nice humidified house may do the trick! No goo so far...so maybe nothing. ;-)

Pick up some saline mist inhaler from the drug store. About a dollar. Nothing else in it, just sterile water and salt. It really is good stuff for that. Even if it isn't goo yet.

Yes, saline mist is good stuff. When my sinuses are bad I go through about a bottle of Ocean a day. It costs a bit more than $1/bottle though... but my nose doesn't tolerate the less expensive store brands, unfortunately.

It's 98.1, KVET. Ya know, I was in Austin from 1977 to 1894 and that was the station I listened to all those years.

Oh yes, I have had several sinus infections over the years. In addition to the pain, it is impossible to breathe through the nose. I would recommend getting an expectorant and decongestant, like you find in Robitussin. My understanding is that the expectorant thins the mucus, and the decongestant helps it drain.
Once the infection starts to clear, you will begin blowing out big chunks of think greenish-yellowish-brownish gunk... and I often gets pieces of what looks like blood vessel.
Oh, and if you have a humidifier, get it cranked up.
Hope it gets better soon, Rosie. That stuff ain't any fun.
