Glad to hear you're safe and that you didn't have as much damage as you could have.

Hullo everyone in the windy zone! Hope everyone is alright! WN, I know you said you have some damage, sorry about that. I have been skeered enough here in tall tree country on just 40 MPH winds. I don't want to see more!

Wow! Thank goodness you weren't there and thank goodness no one was injured!
We just got heavy rains, a bit of lightening and some gusts of wind...not too bad. We need rain!

Wow, they are showing the damages on the news now! It's amazing! Lots of places power is out.
I forgot to mention that the high school that was hit is also the one Myranda graduated from!!! Another blessing!!! Myranda has graduated!!! They just showed the high school on the news.
Also, a high school in a neighboring town, the airport and a junior high here were hit. Lots of homes too.

News here mentioned a store in Killeen lost its roof... I spent the afternoon in the hospital basement, missed all the excitement.

Well, we all went and looked outside while the worst of the storm passed our building. But, through most of it we stayed in my classroom working away. It's an inner room - far from outter walls so we never heard anything in that room. Not even the storm warning sirens.

I saw on the news that your area got hit pretty hard...I almost called you!
Steve came home early and I needed to transfer money from one account to another so he went to bed so I could get on line and do that (and check in with the Hole at the same time!)

All I knew about it at the time was the ladies working in the office talking about the tornado watch and high winds.

Good night, I'm going to bed.
When you post the weekly stats, if I did not make the list this week, please ping me anyway, if you remember! I love the numbers...

Okeydoke, good night.
I think you'll make the Top 10, but I'll ping you in any case.

So, were there tornados there too? Or just high winds? They are saying a lot of the damage in this area was straightline and downburst winds. Also several tornados but the wind gusts were up to 110 they said.
I hate it when I'm riding my scooter and the wind is going faster than me!

Wneighbor, I am so glad that you weren't in that building! That's both scary and awe-inspiring at the same time, to know that God spared you from that. I'm glad Smeagol is safe and the damage to the house wasn't as bad as it could've been. I will keep praying for those in the area. Glad to hear you're okay.
To: 2Jedismom
Glad to hear you only got heavy rain!--prayed for ya!
To: Wneighbor
A few tornadoes way north of us, in Mills County. High winds did some damage. Only had gusts to 54 mph in Austin though.
I'm off to bed, good night.
To: Fedora
Please add to your prayers that I don't have trouble getting insurance coverage for this damage. I can't see in the dark but I suspect I may need a new roof.
