I think Sean Astin should have received best supporting actor.I agree with you on that!
Me, too. I'm not going to complain after RotK won so much, but isn't it striking that it won all these awards but not one acting award? The omission seems inconsistent.

Yes, I loved it. I have a question. I have jury duty tomorrow. but I can't find the paper that says 'bring this with you'. It must be on my desk at work. I realized it might be right at 7:30 when the awards started, and didn't want to miss anything so decided to deal with it after. Now I have to drive to work and hope it is there? Or what? Can I show up without it???

I checked in a couple of times on the Oscar thread...mostly I was watching the show (a rare Oscar show where I didn't have to projectile vomit a few times). I thought they'd trip up on the song award and when they won that, it became pretty clear that Hair was right all along: they would wait until the third year and vote straight ticket LOTR to all the awards.

That's what I'm thinking. Surely I'm not the only person ever to lose the paper. It does say 'you must bring this with you'. I remember seeing that. I also remember, I think, the number of juror I am.
