Hee, yes. But they're too old now. Besides, Nimoy's not really cool. Spock is cool, though.

Shatner got stock in the company, rather than a salary. I also notice his delivery is still, "But .... I'm the voice of .... Priceline". I don't know if that's intentional, or that's just the only way he can act.

Yeah, it's kind of his trademark, isn't it?

Yawn. I'm going to hit the hay. See everyone tomorrow!

The only thing I've seen him act differently in was his two early appearances on Twilight Zone. But since Star Trek he's like that in everything I've seen him in.

I am home now too! Moots are always too short. Too many things to say and talk about and they never all get said!

Stopped at the B-R! :-) Took photo but too tired to post.

I was not counting this as Taquito Moot. I would still like for you, PE and Elfboy to be able to drive over here sometime so I could cook some up for you... if you feel like that long of a drive as the baby gets bigger. At least here is we eat till we feel like I do now we can lay out on the couch! :-)

There's a FedEx commercial running now with three shipping nerds pretending a package needs to get somewhere urgently... "If this package doesn't get there by tomorrow morning, we're DOOMED! (Doomed!)" The idea is that FedEx takes the drama out of shipping... Anyway, I swear one of the actors is deliberately mimicking Shatner's stilted delivery...

We ran into some drizzle just south of Waco, and had that off and on the rest of the way. It's a soft but steady rain, here in Austin.

Say, did you see the episode where they revealed Quincy's first name? It was only mentioned once!

I missed that one. Towards the end, the series took on more and more leftist issues, and I lost interest in a preaching coroner. So what was his first name?

Well, I gather that Fedora has signed off for the night, but I don't want to keep you waiting, so... highlight for a Quincy spoiler!

The very last episode of the series featured Dr. Quincy's marriage. The preacher performing the ceremony started off with the traditional question, "Quincy, do you take this woman..." Since it would be impolite to ask the question using his last name, it must be assumed that it was his first name; meaning his full name was Dr. Quincy Quincy, M.E.

I bet no one ever expected to see the words "Quincy spoiler" appear on the Hobbit Hole...
