And do you believe that Kerry will spend less? Do you believe he'll be more restrained? Will he not seek a health care plan that will make Hillary blush? Or will it not matter then?

You are the second person to reply to my post without having read my post, in which I said that AFTER I VOTE FOR GWB IN NOVEMBER '04, I will never again support another Bush (i.e., Jeb).

Why didn't you read my post before replying to it?

I'm voting for Bush in 04. I cringe when i think of Alec Baldwin and Moby in the Lincoln bedroom and Barbra Streisand at State dinners and the Dixie Chicks playing Innugural Balls with all of them gushing about how they've taken the country back. Barf. Think long and hard about how far we've come in 3 years and how far we could fall in 1.

Best regards,
Liberty

Abort-O-Matics aren't very conservative either, religous, persecution isn't conservative either, denial of gun-ownership isn't conservative either, Smoke Nazi's aren't conservative, Gay-marriage isn't conservative, Enviromental extremism isn't conservative, the relinquising of sovereignty isn't conservative either.

And surrenduring to liberals (epecially to the like of Kerry, Clark, or Edwards) is definatly not conservaive.

By the way how do you suppose President Bush is acting in a statist manner?!?!?

...and while you're at it why don't you GET A CLUE! After this immigration, spending, education, Patriot Act idiocy it's pretty obvious the Bush family has a renegade gene in their family tree that results in political suicide....it's called the "read my lips" gene that enables whichever Bush it afflicts to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

"Anyhoo, how many posters have you seen post on the first week get canned?"

Too many.

I am saddened when I see a troll zotted so fast.

I would rather see the troll beaten to death with facts than than the obligatory calls for the Zot strike.

Funny, reading your post I thought that I was listening to Ted Kennedy reading off his talking points of the day.

I think voting against Bush is an emotional response to recent events. Remember, the election is 10 months away. The people who are raising hell do serve a purpose. But voting for a Libertarian or some other third party candidate IS wasting a vote in the middle of the War on Terror. It is a choice between Bush or a Dem. That's it. Who do you want leading this country. Do you want Kerry or Dean in the White House because Bush made you mad? Wait till Bush gets reelected, picks up some more senate seats, get some judges through, then start splitting hairs over who's the most conservative.

A lot of people blow off steam on this board, but when November comes around, they will vote for their best interests.

I've not voted Dem since I first voted in 1960 (no neo-con, I). No reason to start now.

"

I do not approve of his politices, I'll vote 3rd party, I'll never vote Democrat."

Well, I doubt you will find a 3rd Party candidate that mirrors your political desires; but should you, I hope that candidate will affect the Democrat nominee rather than take votes from GW.

Nothing perfect in the world; certainly not politically; but the Republican ideal whether it underscores or exhuberantly overrides it's boundaries on certain and various policy decisions is still superior to the Leftist view of the world and America's place in it.

. . . and still superior to the Leftist view of where and how, you fit in to the grand scheme as well.

maybe they will scare the white house enough to get some common sense in their heads and do a little reigning in.

That was my intent in the beginning. But all of my phonecalls, faxes and emails are for naught. He gets worse and worse, even knowing how we feel. Since he disrespects me on just about every issue, I'll be disrespecting him in the voting booth. At this point there is nothing he could do that would change my mind. His arrogance is beyond me.

I honestly don't know who I'll vote for now. I thought Keyes, but he just won't run. Then Tancredo until he came out with a Workers Program of his own. If he is willing to cave at this stage, how much more would he bend over once in office.

So now I'm reading, searching. I really like Mike Perouka of the Constitution Party. I'll work to make him a name, although I realize he won't be elected. Perhaps if enough of us voted for Perouka, Bush would sit up and take notice.

Nothing short of abandonment by a large group of Conservatives would give him the slap in the face he needs to wake up.

I'm not convinced that the worse scenario would be a Democrat as President. As long as all the other branches are solidly in Republican hands, I'm not so worried about that. It could cause the Repub in the House and Senate to wake up and realize they're Conservatives and not Liberals. I honestly doubt it could be worse than 4 more years of W at the helm. He's outspent Clinton 2 to 1!
