Second Cabinet: Who will stay on? Who will resign?

Posted on 01/01/2004 5:54:50 AM PST by Reader of news

If President Bush is re-elected, some Cabinet members will stay on but other members will resing. I think Powell will resign surely and Rice, Wolfowitz and Bremer will upgrade. What is your opinion about Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, Ridge, Paige, Thompson...?

I would like to see Ashcroft go. He's a good man and has been unfairly attacked but he's a public relations disaster. I also would like to see someone take over from Tom Ridge for the same reason.

I'd love to see DC drop out as VP, replaced by Condi Rice. When 08 gets close, she can announce before the hillbeast.

Not only would that take the wind out of the fallacy that the Dems are the party of "Civil Rights", but we'd have an excellent presidential candidate to boot.

And it would be fun watching Mrs. Clinton spin in the wind.
