Do you have fiber running all the way to the house? You have a fiber connector in the wall socket?
That would strike me as *extremely* unusual. It pretty much cannot really be that way. But if it *were* true... there's a potential for wicked fast speed of biblical proportions. Fast enough to make parting the red sea look like only a minor miracle.
My house is over 20 years old, so I doubt that they have fiber optic in the walls. What I think they mean is that the whole neighborhood has been rewired with fiber optic lines.
BellSouth did a whole lot of work in my neighborhood this past year, but they never touched the connections IN the house.
