Hey there... just checking in to let you all know that I'm still around.

This Jury duty thing has totally thrown my schedule to the wind. My attendance record for the rest of the week and next week will be kinda spotty.

Curiouser yet... today I was actually seated as a juror on a trial that starts tomorrow. I will respect the wishes of the court and won't discuss it here until we are released to do so. But my fear of getting placed in some lame case were not realized. This case promises to be very interesting. It is a major felony level trial in the superior court. It will at least be interesting...

The process itself has been very interesting so far. Having not been picked for a jury before has me watching the process as much as the content. The whole thiing really fascinates me.

Later,

Good morning!

I never had jury duty...yet.

Now that I said that, I will get a letter in the mail today. LoL

Hey, we are having a heat wave right now compared to yesterday morn. It's 8, but the high today is only 18! BRRRRRR...

Yep, the temps in Iraq are going to be going up by March..suntan lotion will be grand!

I am so glad to hear this! I know you'll enjoy it. I already told you that I enjoyed my one experience getting picked for a jury. And I thought the whole process in court was fascinating as well. I was also fortunate in that my attorney is one of my closest friends and the judge is a friend of the family. Therefore, I could bombard them with questions and discussion afterward.

My attorney keeps telling me I should go to law school. But, in all the years I've known him I've *never* won an argument with him! LOL I don't think I would do well arguing in court. haha... Furthermore, the world would hate me if I were a lawyer!
