Hm...sort of a tortilla casserole? It sounds pretty good! I'll have to try something like that...once I find a decent brand of tortilla or a good recipe. The last batch I got was the usual brand available locally and they were AWFUL. I used most of 'em anyway, but they were really bad.

My black bean soup is gonna be spicy...just tasted it. I need to bring some crackers or cornbread to have with it to cut the heat. But I think it's going to be good...

Just finished the gumbo tonight. Shrimpses with okra and mixed veggies, oh yeah, and rice... course with salt, pepper, roux, and tabasco too. Then we had fresh French Bread with homemade butter to sop it up. For desert, left over peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Talk about hitting the spot!
