We never missed an episode of
All In The Family in my house ... and, yes, my father often agreed with Archie, and found Meathead a dead bore .... Daddy didn't approve of freeloaders.
We watched The Jeffersons, of course, and Good Times, but we also enjoyed Maude.

I got up this morning and made Joshua a lunch as usual, consisted of a peanut butter sandwich cut on an angle...a little packet of fresh carrots, a little container of mandarin oranges, a box of apple juice and an Andes mint.
Got to school and remembered that it was "McDonalds Day" so I left his lunch in the car. At lunchtime, he had a chicken nugget happy meal with fries and a coke. Got a nifty toy.
Picked him up then swung by the thrift store and found the ice cream maker. Then, on the way home, I noticed he was very quiet and realized that he was in his seat, eating his lunch I packed him! I said "Josh! Didn't you eat your happy meal?" He said he ate every bit of it, but it wasn't enough! So I told him to wait till we got home to finish eating (we were close, anyway)...
We came in and he sat down and polished off every bite of his lunch that I'd made him! Ha!
If you look closely in the ice cream freezer picture, you can see him sitting there eating.
Oh, if only Matthew weren't such a picky eater!
