You folks are giving me a bad flashback to that cartoon. I saw it once, believing that was the only version of LOTR we'd ever have, since I considered the story unfilmable with "real" actors. Not only does Sam look like the village idiot, he sounds like Buddy Hackett, a village idiot. That irked me no end.

Still, I liked the "where there's a whip" song, and I was happy to save a copy.
