But that was a long time ago. I've not heard much good lately.

Must have been QUITE a long time ago. We had one Compaq server when I was in Germany that had multiple hard drives die. The US support folks wouldn't help us 'cause they said even though we were on a US base, we needed to speak to European support...European support said the opposite. Took us a lot of angry calls before they finally sent a replacement drive...which was bad. And so on and so forth.

The STOOPID thing is that I bought my Compaq desktop AFTER this experience. Talk about a glutton for punishment...

Heh...last time I just ordered a case and a motherboard with processor and added all the other stuff myself.
