The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I'll be bringing two CDs full of Jack Benny mp3s for each of you. You are the ones that wanted them, right?

Maybe you should just ride them over there.

That's what I was thinking. Is this some huge long way through murderous city traffic or something?

Hair; snow and rain, bad medicine. Good luck on moving the horses. Can you lead them to road and then load them up, and walk em in to the new place?

Excellent photos, Ruthy!

And you look gorgeous, by the way!

I took this opportunity to show my brother all the many adventures of Flat Frodo, with yours as an intro. He really enjoyed all the pictures! And he didn't think we were completely nuts!

I think he'll fit in... ;-)

I never took a turn with him!

Maybe we can get a Flat Legolas or sumpin and start all over, until next Entmoot? ;)

My horse hasn't been ridden in months because he's been lame, and the pony isn't even broke to ride! No - can't walk them, can't ride them. Fifteen miles from here in the same crappy conditions.

Osage, in a pinch, If Bob can get out his own driveway, but just not into mine, I can walk them out into the parking lot of the store next door. I wouldn't so much have qualms about doing that with Bay as I would the pony. There is so much commotion at the store and bad footing, it would be a risk for her. She has trailered twice in her life, that we know of, and though she will likely load right up, she did before, but usually when Bob picks me up, he backs right in to my gate. I would rather have her in a controlled environment in case she balks at the idea.

The only good solution is that the snow go away. it is 39 degrees now.... hope it keeps warming.

This is why I was so worried! What if Bob can't get here? I don't want to risk a bad trailer wreck. Even a mild one is bad.

Worry Worry.

AND surely you don't think I would dangle my grandbabies over an alligator!

Of course, Abby would go no place near enough for me to even try. She's afraid of everything!

But, Emily! I would have to be running my tail off to keep her *out* of harm's way! And she's the little one! She ain't skeered of nothin'!

This was no good time for this to happen! I am sorry. I know I can't help! Just pray. I can do that!
