To Everyone;
Now that I am starting to figure this page out, I want to send our personal thank you. There are 22 of us Reserve soldiers here that were attached to an active duty unit in August of 03. From the start it was obvious that the active unit had no concern for their own soldiers, let alone 22 outsiders they were forced to take. It has become quite clear to them after 3 months in Iraq that they need us, however they still have very low regards for us. Our home unit seems to have forgotten us after the rest of the unit was mobilized in December. We dont really hear from any of them any more, so you can see just what a difference your support makes to us. There is nothing like being half way around the world and having no chain of command to rely on. When we return home safely later this year, you guys will have the satisfaction of knowing that you were an integral part of our safety and success. On behalf of everyone here Thank You.
As for the issue of the Audio vox radios, do you want us to send them to you, or just toss them? If you want them send your address to my e-mail. Thanks again.

We're the ones who should be (and are!) thanking you. I know that a deployment like yours is going to be just plain hard in lots of ways. Please know that there are lots of us back here watching and waiting and hoping for the best for you and all of your buds.

All you need to do is let us know here what you need or want, and we'll do what it takes to get it to you as quick as we can. Just name it. We can't stand a post with you, but we will try to make it a little better for you if we can.

So, are you workin' on work or lettin' work slide while you're doin' your jury time?

It would be nice if you were able to just enjoy the twists and turns of this case and not have to be concerned about stuff at work. I know you can't do that completely... but, it'd be nice for ya.

I don't like to think of ya havin' trouble at work though. :-(

Just for the benefit of the other folks here, I've already answered most of Steve's questions in an email. We'll start pestering Audiovox for some satisfaction. Steve should bring back the junk when he comes home, unless he can mail it to us cheaply if he has the spare time. Meanwhile, we'll start applying heat to Audiovox on our own.

And we certainly don't need no orphan troops. Whatever you guys want, let us know. I can't guarantee we'll work miracles every time, but at least we'll hear you, and do our best to make things right. I get the feeling we'll be lighting fires under more than just Audiovox asses.
