The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

What makes me sad is the transferance of their problem onto ALL women.... Their problem was their own relationship. There are no blanket statements to explain away all women, or all men.

Precisely!

Mmmmmm... Vernor's. [Insert Homer Simpson drooling noise here]

Yep!

It's the last can I'm entitled to, I think. I think we decided those who had been drinkin' it all week in FL only got ONE can of the stuff we brought back. So I'm savoring it!

Don't apologize. No need for that. We are a pretty much laid back group of individuals (except maybe when it comes to dems and their actions, or non-action as the case may be). There are alot of cool things going on right now too. You are just in time for the entmoot synopses. Grab a chair, make yourself at home.

Seems like there was a nice young guy your age and pretty devout that someone else tried to fix me up with once.

He had hope!

I will keep an eye out!

I know when Steve and I got married, there was a lot of people shaking their heads...what they didn't count on was our hard-headed will to succeed and they never expected Steve to make an about turn in his life the way he did when he quit drinking and found the LORD.

When my best friend found out about all this she just cried...she was so relieved!

We consider our marriage a vow BEFORE GOD. Now, one shouldn't go about making vows to God that they don't absolutely move heaven and earth to keep. The good thing is, we both take it that seriously...

And we like each other...which helps...a lot.

And we both like blaze orange, apparently.

LOL!

A marriage made in heaven, for sure!

Mmmm Malt-o-Meal...like a malted cream of wheat. Comes in chocolate too...mmmmm.

I'm making some spicy pumpkin bread. Steve's been buggin' me for it and I want to take some to the other ladies in the church library...we like to sit around and snack while waiting for Awanas to let out.

Malt-o-meal is a breakfast drink. You might drink it instead of eating cereal.

It's a hot cereal. Pretty good, too. Made from wheat and malted barley.

Did you ever see the movie A Christmas Story? The kid who played the main character in that movie was the same kid who was Maynard in the commercial.

Yeah, I like that movie!

We didn't have TV growing up (had a TV and VCR but didn't pick up anything external) so I have didn't see commercials. And I've been wondering why people kept saying that...
