Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Good Morning 2J.
Hope your day is going well. I am so glad to be back at work (believe it or not) I had a crummy 3 day weekend so I am glad to be back on schedule.
And I love the idea of the Footmoot!!! When? Where? I am ready!
To: HairOfTheDog
OK, finally a post that was more what I expected...
I'm gonna watch it too, for a bit, anyway.
Why, I dunno. It's annoying...but I'm still curious!

LOL...Morning Dark. How are you? Up to no good again?
To: 2Jedismom
hey 2J...
the chickens are alive, but traumatized... our neighbors that were takin' care of the birds while we were gone said that their dog, Vern (the original chicken killer) followed them one mornin' and snatched one of the Barred Rocks... they managed to rescue the bird, but she's still on her perch this mornin' won't come down fer nuthin'... I've fed her feed and scratch on the perch, but she won't come down... hope she gets over it...
but... I've got a little somethin' special fer Vern the next time I see him...
oh... and one of the RIR's is squattin'...

Your house...that's in OK right? Your probably not far from WN are you?
To: PurpleQ
As usual.
But it's still not my fault.
*chuckle*

I have faith that my friends wouldn't keep something that belongs to me... you have friends?...

what is concerning me is every forum I go to, even the not political ones, are filling up with anti-Bush twisted rhetoric, to the rafters. They are spewing in the manipulated facts. And the new tack is -- Republicans who will vote for Bush are stupid and never read a newspaper, so they don't know the facts. "If the stupid Republicans would pick up a newspaper and read it, one that writes the 'real' stuff, they would know how the war was a vendetta for saddam taking Bush's daddy's salad oil, at dinner once -- so he is killing innocent babies and women."
To: HairOfTheDog
Yep. The "I walked out in disgust" one.

We need to have a Big Bentmoot ... naaaw... 'stoo easy...
To: My back yard
I've noticed it too...even on my chicken forum. I hardly even go back because of it. And it's even showed up on my whistle egroup that I started!
They are so filled with vitriol that they can't stop it, I believe.

Huh.... I haven't been to other forums (besides political ones) so I haven't seen that. Bush's approval ratings are pretty good right now... so I think it is a slanted group.
