The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

There's still more. If you want it. It's pretty tasty. Plus I have tea for afterwards - I stole some really good loose leaf (whatever) tea from the house. Mug said Dad never drinks it. It's really good.

What ARE you eating?

Heh...the tuning fork of D-oO-Oo-oO-m.

Oh...wait...it's on OUR side, right?

That was pretty bizarre, though.

LOL...that's quite all right! I'm darn proud to be Autumn's father!

C'mon over afterwards if you like...or I can come get you.

"Food"? I'm not sure I want to know what that means, after the banana soup story...

It's pretty simple:

You mix up the ground beef the same way you would for a meatloaf (minus the breadcrumbs...or just use very little), and spread it thin onto a pizza-pan. Bake it in the oven for about 15 minutes, take it out, drain the fat.

Add your regular pizza toppings, throw it back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes or so, take it out, let it cool a bit. Slice and serve!

What's the drinking age in Middle Earth? ;-)

I think they're somewhat libertarian, right? So that should be fine...

Yeah, that is who I thought it was! My son who plays the trumpet has been curious about the bagpipes for a while now. I'm going to get him some with my income tax return money. You've just decided me. Got any advice???

Ok...here's the Mack Hoover narrow bore PVC...#540, a praise whistle, given to me as a gift...Mr. Hoover gives every 10th whistle he makes away as a tithe to a person he feels will use it to honor the Lord. I was very honored to get it.

Note the Corian fipple plug...it's delightful when you first put it to your lips...the fipple plug has a cool feeling like marble that gradually warms up...

Here is another view of the mouthpiece:

And here I am, playing it at my computer!

lol...oh boy...she was NOT adorable this weekend, let me tell ya.

She's in that "I'm going to push every single boundary that I have, and work you to your last nerve" phase. It took her over two hours to go to sleep last night. Every 5 minutes it was something new

"Daddy? My finger itches. Daddy? I want a drink. Daddy? Sunshine Bear fell out of the bed. Daddy? Elsie the Hippo is bothering me. Daddy? I need to go potty. Daddy? My feet are cold. Daddy? Now my feet are hot. Daddy? Can I read another story? Daddy? I left Henry the Octopus downstairs...can you get him?"

And on and on and on. Hopefully, she'll grow out of this one soon enough.

Afternoon all. Sorry I'm late. Gots the day off, but then so do the boys (and Nana).

Even tho I didn't have the Shoes of Power, went back up in the attic. Not gonna get as far as we wanted, but made room for the Christmas decorations. We'll get them up there when the wife gets home from school.

So, okay we've accepted the fact that Nana just isn't going to get dressed every day until she's better. I understand that it hurts to dress. We can live with that.

BUT, when she comes downstairs SHE MUST WEAR HER TEETH! And she can't clean 'em in the kitchen sink.

~shudder~
