Did the Cold-eeze help at all?
They believe the mechanism of action is that the zinc in the lozenge coats the cold virus, preventing it from spreading and getting worse. That's why you are supposed to suck it slowly and not chew it. I think it's the same principle behind Zi-cam...or whatever it is...the nasal spray.
Anyway, I've had good results with it. I don't give it to the 5 year old, but I did give it to Matthew when he was getting a cold (I knew it was a cold...he got it from Joshua). It stopped it in it's tracks with him!

Oh yeah...
The g'nads were the first "strangers" my parents ever met that were online aquaintences of mine...I'd met a couple or so others...but not too many. Jame Retief was one, and a lady from a homeschool email group.
They were the perfect people to meet! My dad was very anxious about it...didn't know if it was a good idea or not. But the g'nads had them won over in no time and now, after seeing and hearing all about Entmoot, my parents act like it's no big deal anymore.
They've adjusted to this new era of socializing!

~snif~ I feel the same way about my grandpa. My parents divorced when I was 8, and my dad lived 500 miles away. Grandpa was 1 mile. He was also an auto mechanic. I can rebuild an engine solo, thanks to him. Also shoot really well. One of my favorite pastimes at his place, was bird hunting with a 22 rifle.

She's a sweet person, huh? I just think the world of her.She is a wonderful person, no doubt!! I had such a blast hanging out with her and everyone.
That was the most unique thing about Entmoot, you know? There was no real awkwardness even though we'd never really met in RL. It was as if we see each other all the time.

Well, I'm back!
At home... tryin' to sweet-talk the kitty, going to go down in a bit and pick up the horses. The place looks OK, though we left it a mess we were so busy getting ready.
Glad you didn't get ~too~ hurt falling through the ceiling Corin!
I had a great time everyone! I sure look forward to the next moot!
Here were some parting shots.... sitting around outside, Ramius and g'nad havin' a cigar, and some hugs when we all said Goodbye!

We are going to load them to ecurbh's site... have an Entmoot photo gallery! I will make sure you all have access to all the good ones! Anyone who took photos should send them to us!
Ecurbh came home and immediately took his computer apart. His Sister and brother in law sent him a new computer 'box... for Christmas and it arrived while we were gone. I think it has a new motherboard etc in it (I am a driver, not a mechanic, Jim). Anyhow he is putting all his drives in it and maybe he'll be up and running soon.... maybe not! ;~D
