Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Yes, I have some from The Body Shop. After my soak, I'll put some on my not so bad foot.
I think neosporin is still called for on the split.

Gosh, I'm so sorry this is coming up for you right now. Just apply your hobbit discipline -- "Let's make it down the hill for starters" -- Maybe Bob could load and move one horse at a time?
I'll be praying for their safe relocation.

Heh.... No, I think he can either do both at once or neither. The pony will not behave better without Bay's influence. She is better with him than alone. His truck has the power and more ta boot. it is the traction.
We are goin' out to shovel.

I hope someone will be able to take a pic of the breakfast (at least) at Entmoot, and post it here.
To: HairOfTheDog
Too bad you don't have Peter Jackson's team around to clear the snow and ice away...
To: HairOfTheDog
Don't worry, Hair!! Everything will work out with time to spare!
The horses will be fine and you and ecurbh will be in Florida. No need to fret!

Bu sure to put on some socks afterwards to heat up the foot so the medicine and lotion soaks up quickly. Then you can reapply in a few hours!
My feet and hands do the same thing from time to time. They burn and itch terribly, sis. I'm sorry you're dealing with it.

Let me know how it goes...
Besides shoveling... maybe a bag of rock salt on the slope would take care of it. Or just gravel/dirt/sand? Then you could back the trailer right to the gate, maybe?
To: HairOfTheDog
Or kitty litter. Works great.

Note to self: Bring camcorder to Entmoot along with disposable camera. :-)

Rock salt is gonna kill your grass! That's a bad thing?
I HATE mowing grass...
To: RosieCotton
Well....yeah. Unless you want a bare spot where nothing will grow that turns into mud when it rains.
To: Overtaxed
Hm...still might be better than mowing the lawn.
But I guess I'd rather SOMETHING grew there...
To: RosieCotton
She could grow some clover for the horses...that doesn't need mowing. But then some people consider clover to be a weed.
To: RosieCotton
Wild strawberries. No mowing, and they spread/propogate on they're own.
