The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Deviled Eggses. Series drooling here.

How's the weather there? Heard on the news this morning about freezing rain and power outages in Washington and Oregon...

Tagline dispenser. Insert quarter. [[|] Mash button. [button] EnjoySilly me. I thought CTRL + ALT + DEL did it.
Or maybe FORMAT C:

No no no.. Hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del if the automatic flash backup.
You have to really MASH the buttons to get it to work.
And format :c only works for the action of instant computer amnesia.
But you really need to make sure it really has a case of amnesia.
You need to do that two or three times to be sure.
No, Alt+F4 works for tagline dispensitation.

You are plenty close enough to that gator! When they move, they move vey fast. He could have tasted your ankle if he'd wanted to.
To: My back yard
The secret is to watch their hind legs. If the gator has the rear legs tucked underneath them, watch out! However, if they have them splayed to the sides, they are pretty much resting and want to be left alone.
They usually pull in their hind legs a bit slowly, but if you're watching you can usually back off out of leaping range before they whip around.
I wouldn't go anywhere in the water though. Alligators can move like the wind in water!

I'm back! Had to take Joshua to his preschool. He took his slingshot for show and tell. It's a real slingshot, not a toy one.
I gotta soak my feet, the split one is giving me grief again. I neglected it yesterday, as i shouldn't have.

The freezing rain problems hit Portland hard, but not here. It is light rain here, the remaining snow is less than it was, but has kindof a hard crust on it.
This is at my gate looking out to the store parking lot. Ordinarily, and the safest way to load them, would be to have Bob back right up to the gate. There is a slight incline there that worries me about him trying to get out again without slipping when there are 2000 pounds of horses in the trailer, but I really don't want to have to lead them out into the parking lot to load them. ~fret~
We are going to shovel it. But I still don't know if Bob can get out his own long driveway.

Yeah, the whipping around is what I would have been concerned with. And he looks like he's watching everything you are doing, and getting ready to move if you go to his right side. Interesting about the back legs. I see what you mean. Still, yikes.
To: 2Jedismom
I am really stressed. I can imagine enough horrors trailering on a nice day. Bob is really careful, but what is this trailer trip worth to me?
