I agree. Not only that, what would be the point of doing a remake that's EXACTLY like the original? If that's what you want just SHOW/WATCH the original. Those of us who like new takes on an old theme (open mindedness) will give it a chance.

Those of us who like new takes on an old theme (open mindedness) will give it a chance.Too many supporters of this program are getting off on the wrong track, most of the people who refuse to watch this are doing so, not because a woman is a starship pilot, but because the "Main Characters" genders were changed to be PC. Remember that lil ole thing the Dims ram down our throat everyday? If you enjoyed the show, then more power to you, but a lot of us refuse to follow the "PC is good" road.
It would be like remaking the Original Star Trek and replacing Spock and Bones with a woman. (The original not another ST set in a different time).
