A place and date that will live in . . . .!
Sorry, wrong speech.
Three score and three days ago, Amy . . .
Nope!
I want you to listen to me, I'm going to say this again!
Nevermind. Thanks for inviting me.
In this celebratory spirit -- in part to commemorate the refurbishing and redecoration of Amy's Place,
please allow me to swallow all dignity and pride, and post a Press Release from the UK earlier this year
that somehow (don't ask) seems to capture in some small way the spirit of the occasion:

Citys toilets flush with success
Posted: 15/05/03
Parliament Street public toilets will re-open on Saturday morning (17 May) following a complete refurbishment and redecoration.
£20,000 has been spent on the facilities at Parliament Street as part of the councils £45,000 rolling programme of improvements to the citys public conveniences ahead of the main tourist season.
The Parliament Street loos have been completely re-decorated, with new floors and improved ventilation. An attendant will be on hand in the ladies loos from 8.00am until 8.00pm to ensure they are maintained to a high standard.
John Wood, City Centre Manager, said: The public conveniences in Parliament Street are a vital amenity for both residents and tourists. We have been concerned that some of the citys loos have not met the high standards we would expect and Im pleased that the refurbishment work will bring real improvements.
One part of the improvement scheme is already complete. The Museum Garden toilets re-opened at the end of March following extensive refurbishment work. The area around the toilet has been re-modelled to make it more open and pleasant, with a gravelled area replacing vegetation.
Other toilets in line for a makeover include Exhibition Square (mid June) and Tanner Row (July).
