Westy, I don't feel a failure as a mother, and you shouldn't feel so as a father. I mean, your daughter may neglect you (which she will regret) but, at least she is not in jail. My son is.

No the two kids were pretty good growing up, No trouble. The younger married a Firefighter, bore a son and died early..The oldest married another college goer, bore 3 daughters that haven't got in trouble that I know of...Just has different values about some things than I do....Looks at the world differently.... A while back I realized my traveling days were over with and I couldn't maintain the MH...So I asked if they would like to have it....They jumped at the chance, but within a few weeks they sold it....The money was more important... They both work, the daughter as a customer service rep at a hospital, the SIL as a grade school teacher...Like they need money.....Oh well. more water over the dam.....
