More crab, and less mayo is a good thing.

Chilean cheers.

I start getting dizzy just thinking about food...I'm already tired of the camp cuisine and this is only my 4th week up here.

Chileans just aren't very imaginative cooks...their main seasoning is salt...lots of salt. They have all the fresh ingredients here, but just don't seem to know what to do with them.

I bring fruit and nuts and cheese and eat in my room. I, being a jefe grande of sorts, have a frig in my little room.

Speaking of mayo...we have a heck of a time finding good old Kraft mayo down here...it's all Hellman's and it isn't the good white kind...it's kind of a tasteless yellow color. This in a country where I can buy 10-lbs of artichokes for about a buck.
