So do I, but I wouldn't take anything for him. He was actually my daughter's cat, and Tyler loved him too. Both of them will be here at different times this year, and I really want them to be able to see Nermal. Neither of them has seen him in nearly 3 years.

Nice photo! I don't want to keep Maia going so long that she is miserable. Right now, you'd never know she had a problem. She's slow, because she's old and kind of arthritic, but she seems happy and content, not suffering at all. The fluid therapy isn't anything heroic, it just keeps her healthier longer. We can even do it at home, if it needs to be done more often than every two weeks. It's just an IV fluid administered just below the skin between the shoulders. The trick is getting to her to hold still while you do it!
