Got back from my job interview a little bit ago. They kept me 2 1/2 hours. The job is as a family caseworker for child protective services. Yikes. Didn't even realize that was what I applied for, but I've filled out a lot of applicatins. Probably be a week or 2 before I know anything. Meanwhile, I got a call today from another county that wants me to come in for an interview on Monday morning. Same type position I think. Wish me luck. It would be a significant pay increase, plus paid holidays, benefits and all that good stuff. Seems in the state of Arkansas everybody is either working for the state or living off the state. Everybody in the middle is taxed to death and barely getting by ir independently wealthy.
