Yes she was dehydrated .. She couldn't keep any fluids down without throwing up. That was why we took her to the hospital .. plus that she had signs of the flu
I got a call around 4am this morning from my sister because mom had taken a turn for the worse and they were taking her down to the ICU. That is where I've been all day.
Turns out that she did have pneumonia, but it didn't show up on the xrays until after the pumped her with fluid. Her one lung collapsed and the other one is 2/3 congested.
The doctors tried putting her on a respiratory and pumped her with a bunch of antibiotics .. but that wasn't working and the toxins started getting into her blood system, which means there really isn't any chance that she will recover.
Then it was decided it was best to take her off the respiratory because that was her wishes that she put in her Living Will.
It's been an up and down day for her and looks like she won't make it thru tomorrow. Her blood pressure has been 124/13 for the last few hours and her Resp. was floating back and forth betwen 11 to 20
Sorry to be such a downer with news .. but I just wanted to let y'all know what was up on my end, in case you don't see me around for a few days.
