From what I understand, the people doctors haven't discovered calf-pullers...yet!

a dealy with OB chains and a come-along designed for yanking the recalcitrant critter from it's mom. Often used on first-calf heifers...for some reason, after using a puller, the next calves pop out pretty quickly...no one knows why.

Lawd have mercy. Can't she just stick her arm in up to the shoulder to pull the calf out? I never have, but I've seen my family do it.

They used to give us kids the nice little calf for a pet, you know. We named it and played with it....until it was big enough to slaughter. When they did, we wouldn't eat it. I suppose that would be called emotional abuse today. LOL
