Part of our Black Angus girls...almost complete A.I herd. We sold them to a friend who is keeping the blood-line going so we can buy some heifers when we return.

In our last calf crop, the steers, born in late Feb and early March, averaged 710 lbs and the heifers averaged 620 lbs. They were the largest calves in the county.

What a beautiful herd.

Artificial is the way to go if one is trying for the finest possible traits.

I now need a tenderloin for dinner.
