I was falling down
odd how it
...could come out like this.
Spinning and twisting wildly in a cotton candy sky.
I feared that the
flamingo would speak to me
again.
It was horrific
And I suspe
cted that I was dreaming.
"Clear!"
"No pulse, still in V fib."
"Go to 220."
"Clear!"
I awoke screaming to wires and nurses, doctors and pain.
I didn't know how long I'd been out, or what happened.
But I did have an odd feeling that she wouldn't be coming back.
I was still falling down.
