To: All; fish hawk
I brought this from last night's thread. Since Fish Hawk is in Maui, he posts late at night for many of us. Thank you again, FH. Love your poems.

ORCHARDS
white blossoms 'dorn the apple trees
much like a wedding gown
I watch them falling in the breeze
like pinwheels floating down
....... sweet snow upon the ground
...... STORM
the wind has circled the island
the sea has changed its course
great waves sculpting the softer sand
lambastes the shore with force
......... it seems without remorse

beside clinging vetch
are golden trumpets waking
lift their arms to stretch
......... poets wit nor feathered quill
......... have improved the daffodil
flowers of the sea
rainbows of the waxing tide
bright enemone
........ all the colors you display
....... dancing in a sea ballet
on a distant plane
smoke is mingling with the clouds
burning bright the cane
....... harvesting the sugar crops
....... sweetening the candy shops

night came flaunting loneliness
the gibbous moon is blue
the stars are many yet so far
their warmth I never knew
no substitute for you
the sea has lost his composure
tormented to the core
he takes his wrath out on the rocks
that decorate the shore
you should have heard him roar
..... These last three posts ,if you noticed, are three different types of Haiku.
