Four Seasons of Loneliness
Author Nichole M. Defoe

Leaves are falling,
The year is almost a new.
Ours love is strong,
We’ve proved it through and through.

Snow will be falling,
My Sailor wont be home.
Christmas will be sad,
But I have you in my heart so I’ll never be alone.

Spring will come and go,
Then summer will be here.
We’ll still be an ocean apart,
But the crisp air will make you feel near.

One year has past now,
And we’ve got yet another year to go.
My darling Sailor love,
How I miss you so.
