I'm sorry that your wife left you, but you need to stop wallowing in self-pity. Life can be wonderful if you try to make it wonderful. I don't pretend to have all of the answers, but I have had, and still have, my cross to bear. You really need to seek counsel with a minister, or a therapist. Don't do anything hasty. Also, think of your life after this world.

Hey be thankful you have a job. Some of us would love to be in your shoes right now :o) Are there alternative ways to learn to fly? I admit I don't know the specifics, but I do know that sometimes you have to think outside the box.

Well since the Lord hasn't dropped a rock on your head yet, maybe He has something for you to do ;o)

No rock, sorry. I'm afraid you just met us, which is worse. And it hurts more because a rock doesn't freepmail you.

You will be a pilot, and you'll give lessons for free. I feel so strongly about saying this that I'm not going to care about what everyone or even you think about me for saying it. God has heard you and He says "Go do what you said you would do NOW, and do not wait. You are more than a just a pilot without wings, you are God's messenger to the people I am sending to you"...

I fly back from Pebble Beach yesterday, and not only do I have to deal with a weak VHF the whole way (right after a 1,000 hr!), but when I get into town, the jerk at the Porsche dealership has some song-and-dance about how the 911 Carerra I ordered weeks ago still ain't here because the trim package was a "special order" or some such BS. To top it all off, when I try to hit the hay early, the wife insists we instead "celebrate" her new modeling contract..all frickin night long.

The only thing that kept me awake in the boardroom this morning was my sore lower back.
