we would go to red immediately, NJ would be locked down, and there would be teams searching potential hiding spots for the nukes... Oceanview - yeah, you'd think so..wouldn't ya.
However..as strange as this might sound..I think politics and the anticipated impact on the economy interfere with good judgement on these things.
I think there are those close to Dubya who tell him that they think they can find them and take care of this "little" threat. No need to alarm the Sheeples and cause a market/economic meltdown - especially not in an election year!
I just hope they are right, and they CAN find them in time.

well, if one of them goes off in a major city, we'll have a depression, and it will be kind of hard for Bush to explain why he's been screwing around with speeches on amnesty for illegals in the midst of this. the red alert need only be in a specific suspected area, in this example, NJ.
