I agree, except that I don't think the Dems attacks are working with anyone except their core base, and those people are lost anyway. Did you see Chris Matthews interviewing that ACLU lawyer who was against the new fingerprinting and photographing of foreign nationals? Matthews was getting incensed at the guy, you could see it, if the left has lost Chris Matthews, that says alot. On the whole, the left's sympathy on these issues is hurting them, their credibility on anything associated with the terrorism is quite low.

I did not watch Matthews very often after the end of the clintoon impeachment debacle. Before that time, I could tolerate and even enjoy watching him. But then he went back to being his true liberal left self. The night he had hitlery rotten on, I changed channels quickly and swore off his show for good. I will not watch that wench or anyone fawning over her. But I am glad to hear that Chris is coming down on the right side of the fingerprinting issue. P.S. I would watch hitlery rotten on Bill O'Reilly's show, though. ;) That I would love to see... he he. I bet alot of people would!

What the ACLU doesn't understand (IMHO) is that the liberties apply to A-M-E-R-I-C-A-N-S.

Getting tweaked off because we are fingerprinting/photographing FOREIGNERS makes as much sense as the ACLU existing in the first place.
