TheAngel shines upon Islam brightly the 7th...What is TheAngel... Possibly refers to something like this?
Angels in Qur'an & Hadith
"For, "upon the day when they see the angels -- no good tidings that day for the sinners ... On the day when the heavens and the clouds are split asunder and the angels are sent down in a grand descent, the dominion that day will belong truly to the All-Merciful; it will be a harsh day for the unbelievers" (XXV, 25-26)"
So we infidels are in for a bad day when the Angel shines upon Islam, I'm guessing.

From that same link I just posted, this is pretty interesting. What the moslems call one of their angels sounds like a certain small country in the ME...
6. Izra'il -- He is mentioned by the Quran as the "angel of death";

Actually Islam has it's end-times prophecies too. It's been a long time since I've read them but they are detailed mostly in the hadith as I recall, and not in the Quran, although some of it certainly is in the Quran. It's pretty scary, graphy hellfire and brimstone stuff. Not for the faint of heart.
What I find intriguing about Islam is the concept of the "Satanic verses". (Salman Rushdie borrowed that term when he wrote the novel that triggered the infamous fattwa on his life.) The Satanic verses were originally believed to be part of the Quran but were later determined to have been inspired by Satan instead of Allah. The question that always got me into a LOT of trouble every single time I asked it was "then how does one know which verses were of Satanic inspiration and which were of divine inspiration." The response I was always given was that the distinction was handed down in the hadith.
I'm sure there are people here who have a much stronger knowledge of Biblical history than I, but I don't recall any of the Biblical prophets receiving Satanic revelations. In fact, I thought the test of a true prophet was that they ONLY spoke the word of God.
Anyway I digress. This passage you refer to could be one of the many Islamic tracts out there that are purely Islamic recruitment and educational tracts, it could be a message, or it could be both.
In other words, I have no clue. But hey - I contributed a trivia question for the day!

Revelation 6:8 "And I looked and behold a pale (original greek is khloros meaning green) horse, and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hungar, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."
Isn't Islam associated with green somehow? Don't they use that color for their flags?
The word sword in the context of these scriptures means war.

So we infidels are in for a bad day when the Angel shines upon Islam, I'm guessing. I agree with your assessment, I think that's meant as a threat to us infidels.

TheAngel shines upon Islam brightly the 7th...What is TheAngel... I'm waaaaay behind here and don't know if anyone else has mentioned this....the moon is full on the 7th. I believe there's moon worship in Islam, right? Do they consider their moon diety an angel?
I just know the moon was exceptionally bright tonight and that's what made this connection in my poor lil brain.
So much to digest, file away; or toss aside if it's "hooey". (not been much of that) Great work by everyone!
