That's the way it usually goes, when everyone gets on the bandwagon it's too late. Buy high sell low isn't the goal. However, there will be more dips, as you stated, and one could get in then. I personally think gold has a lot further to go up. But again, I'm just jane q public - I just dabble.

I agree with your statement about going up in the long run, but would wait if there is going to "a situation" to catch it on the dip...

...what I mean by gold continuing to go up...I think that our economy is in bad shape even if there were no threats...I would go to the safe haven of gold...
