Va., Maryland, N.C. all riddled with caves, tunnels. Okay, I've had enough of this aspect. Back to the "belly of the Eagle" thing.

Re: the Belly of the Eagle. Wasn't there a recent revitalization project in Philly that focused on the area where the liberty bell is housed? It used to be around 5th and Market Streets. The Frankford elevated line runs underground along Market Street for miles. Thw old wanamakers (now Lord and Taylor) that houses the Eagle is at 13th or 14th and Market, just next to City Hall. Does the Broad Street subway (that intersects at Market Street) run down to the Eagles' new stadium (The Linc) and then to the airport past oil refineries?

One vacation, I visited Harper's Ferry in West Virginia, famous for John Brown and the underground railroad. If I recall, there are extensive underground tunnels in WV.
