I am aware that they had masters degrees etc. I haven't read this whole thread, but there was a post about a yahoogroup with threatening msgs last week....I wrote the guy making the scary posts. I told him that the Arab World had peaked with ancient Egypt. He did reply, saying no one knows why ancient Egypt disappeared. It was my opinion that he was a college student popping off on the internet.

It certainly could be. I think someone tracked his ISP to Dubai. There are a number of possibilities from a wannabe, to someone assigned to deliberately spread disinfo, to having some of what he says be grounded in reality (theirs) ...etc.
